Babaji’s Amrutha Kriya and "Saptha Marga"

Yoga

The word Yoga was coined by Rishis long ago. Yoga comes from Sanskrit root “Yuj” meaning “to join” or “to Yoke”. Yoga is one of six system of Indian Philosophy. In many ways yoga has been defined; of course, there are too many definitions. But in its spiritual sense, it is an experiential process by which the human spirit is brought into near and conscious communion with the ultimate reality or merges with the divine spirit. For a common man’s understanding controlling the ever shattering mind is Yoga.

Maharshi Pathanjali defines Yoga as the cessation of Mind – ChittaVrittiNirodha. This is the definition of yoga, the best by Maharshi Pathanjali.

Many have tried to define yoga in varied way and some of them are Yoga is skill in action, Yoga is simple living with high thinking, Yoga is a process for merger of the subject with the object, Yoga is a process of mastering the internal and external forces, Yoga is the curative and preventive medicine from the ills of modern living, Yoga is merging of microcosmic individual with macro cosmic consciousness, so on and so forth.

At every step, yoga guides us to act but not to react. The Yoga is a kingly science and kingly secrets. One can know the divine glories and vision of the cosmic form. Yoga leads for right Action. It helps gaining wisdom through devotion. Through Yoga one can enjoy the values of renunciation of action. Yoga helps to achieve impossible eternal happiness through meditation and devotion. Yoga shows the path to the imperishable Brahman, It is a guide for liberation by renunciation.

Fearlessness, purity of heart, steadfastness in wisdom, alms-giving, control of the senses or self-restraint, sacrifice, study of one’s own scriptures, austerity, straightforwardness, non-injury, absence of anger, renunciation, peacefulness, absence of crookedness, compassion to living beings, non-greedy, non-covetousness, gentleness, modesty, absence of fickleness, vigour, forgiveness, fortitude, purity, absence of hatred, absence of pride are the divine properties a true Yogi possess as these are sure to liberate the soul.

On the other hand, hypocrisy, pride and arrogance, self-conceit, anger, harshness and ignorance, insatiable desires are devil properties and the yoga practitioner needs to shed them as they lead to unwanted bondage. When the bondage increases, lust and anger thrives and they strive to secure by unlawful means hoards of wealth for sensual enjoyments.

Those with bondage do not know what to do and what not to do. They will neither have purity of thought nor good conduct, nor is any truth found in them as they hold evil ideas through delusion and they work with impure resolves. They are in illusion and to them the universe itself is without truth.

Human beings, or for that matter all lives, are governed by three guans. They are Sattva (Purity), Rajas (Passion), and Tamas (Inertia). Of these Sattva which from its stainlessness is luminous and healthy, binds by attachment to happiness and by attachment to knowledge. Rajas guna’s nature is of passion. It is the source of thirst for life, objects and attachment. It binds fast. Tamas is born of ignorance and is the deluder of all embodied beings; it binds fast.

Sattva prevail overpowering Rajas and Tamas. Rajas prevail by overpowering Sattva and Tamas. When Tamas is predominant it overpowers Sattva and Rajas

The light of wisdom would shine at every sense organ of the body when the Sattva increases, while Rajas increases greed, ambitious activity, pride, jealous, restlessness, desire etc., engulf. Tamas induces darkness, inertness, heedlessness, and also delusion would operate when Tamas increases.

Yoga - Babaji and Yoga Siddhas

The Himalayan immortal Master Mahavatar Babaji is the great server of humanity. Babaji has every power, travels by mere thought, and manifests anything needed from the air and still stays youthfully in his physical body, guiding the matured, aged Saadhus, Sanyasins, and Seers seated around him. By virtue of Babaji is from the tradition of the great Siddhas. He is the knower of all science.

SadGuru Mahavatar Sri Babaji is a sage of infinite enlightenment, a God in himself and immortal Master of the Himalayas, who was born in the year 562 BC and has ever since not left his youthful physical body. It is astonishing that the deathless Guru bears no mark of age on his body; he appears to be a youth of not more than twenty-five. Fair-skinned, of medium build and height, his beautiful, strong body radiates a perceptible glow. His eyes are dark, tender and calm with ever glowing divinity; his long lustrous hair is copper-coloured. This is how one can lucidly describe about the living great master and Mahavatar Babaji!!!

Those who are blessed to have his darshan at his ashram will be astonished to see Babaji with his youthful physical body, guiding the matured, aged Saadhus, Sanyasins, Yogis, and Seers seated around him. Even to those who are virtuous enough to get his darshan, with his physical body, cannot go nearer to him because of the divine radiation spread around him.

Swarna Swargashram is the name of Babaji’s ashram. Gowrishankar Peeta is his seat wherefrom he decides and implements many schemes through the medium of his chosen disciples. In fact, as generally thought, he never does any miracles; but miracles do just happen around him, and it could be in any part of the universe. The Swarna Swargashram is located at an altitude of over 16,000 ft MSL and it is around 22 km away on an upward trekking from the temple town of Badrinath in Himalayas. In these austere barren landscapes at this high altitude, strewn with huge boulders, snow peaks, where patches of bhuj plants grow, the Swarna Swargashram is situated. It is very near to the magnificent triangular shaped Satopanth Lake having emerald like crystal clear water, surrounded all around by the mighty Himalayan snow peaks of Neelkanth, Satopanth, Swargarohini, Chaukhamba, and Balakun mountains. It is this water from Satopanth Lake that quenched the thirst of Yudhishthira of Mahabharata, when he went in his mortal form with a dog to be received by Gods in the celestial Rath. Except for pure water, rocks, some plant and trees among glazier, nothing could be seen near the Babaji’s Ashram. No one can approach on the Ashram closer than a mile without the permission or concurrence of Babaji. No photo or radar can capture Babaji or his Ashram.

Babaji travels around the universe everyday from his Ashram by mere thought, and continues to guide disciples, many a time, from celestial plane and on rare occasions astonishingly by his personal appearance anywhere anytime. Where, when, why and how one will have the darshan of Babaji remains a mystery. Everyday during Brahma muhurtha, Babaji stays in his Ashram. It is astonishing to see several souls of the past history are in his ashram, they include the best and the worst history makers from all walks of life.

Now one can perceive how the self-realized soul has seen the truth and shall impart the knowledge to the sincere seekers. Perfect knowledge and awareness is attained by just hearing “the truth” through the great spiritual master. By submissive inquiry and service to Babaji the seeker become a divine realized soul.

Yoga Siddhas

We know a little that the Siddhas attained a state of perfection called as “Swarupa Samadhi” due to their penance, magnanimous in selfless contributions and their unique life style. Siddhas are those who concentrate and hold their breath in the mooladhara, navel, heart, middle of stomach, neck, hairs and raise the Kundalini power.

According to the ancient Siddhas the divine would also descend further into lower planes of consciousness viz., the intellectual, mental, vital, and physical bodies. They become the virtual embodiment of the ultimate Divinity. Such a state is very difficult to be conceptualized by our limited intellect. The Siddhas have discovered that through a complete surrender of their being, their ego, and their very lives, the Divinity would in some exceptional cases descend and completely transform them down to their very cells. This transformation would pass a kinetic current by intensive practice of various Kriyas, Yogasanas, Meditation, Mantras, Yantras, Tantras, Devotion, Kirthanas, Poojas etc., but the supreme is the Kriya Kundalini Pranayama, which is an all inclusive experience. The transformation and transcendence could also be achieved by leading a simple life with high thinking, just a simple but dedicated service to the humanity and living beings of this universe and by creating and living in a conflict less society.

For the Siddhas, Brahma, Vishnu or Shiva; Rama, Krishna or Shanmukha; Durga, Parvathi, Lakshmi, Saraswathi or Shakthi; Christ, or Allah, God or almighty or so on and so forth are one and the same energy but in different manifestation. The Siddhas number about 18 and were concentrated in many part of India, more particularly in southern India. Still they were influencing the entire universe.

A salt log although dissolves and loses its identity by merging into the water, still it retains the saltiest nature of taste. Likewise, the Siddhas have thrown their personality into the ocean of God or the ultimate reality within, and experienced a progressive transformation of their intellectual, mental, vital and physical sheaths, still retaining their foot prints on human history. A state of being one with the universe and bringing back the universe within themselves is an act only possible for elevated souls. Thus a divine transformation of their entire human nature takes place after attaining such a unique realization. Siddha means an adept or one who attained perfection or “Siddhi”. These eighteen Siddhas attained such perfection. Such unique realization could be possible only through the Grace of God. The techniques used by the Siddhas to modify, culture and prepare the lower bodies for the descent of the divinity are collectively called as Kriya Yoga Siddhantha.

The records reveal the history of the Siddha tradition has begun millions of years ago. Lord Shiva initiated Devi Parvathi into Kriya Kundalini Pranayama in a cave at Amarnath. Kriya Kundalini Pranayama is the scientific art of mastering the breath. Later Siddhas Agastya, Nandi Deva, Thirumoolar others were initiated by lord Shiva in Mount Kailash. Initially Babaji was trained by sage Boganath and later sage Agastya initiated Babaji into Kriya Kundalini Pranayama.

The Upanishads have minutely classified every stage of spiritual advancement. A Siddha (perfected being) has progressed from the state of a jivanmukta (“freed while living”) to that of a paramukta (supremely free - full power over death); the later has completely escaped from the mayic thralldom and its cycle of reincarnation. The paramukta, therefore, seldom returns to a physical body; if he does return, he is an Avatar, a divinely appointed medium of supernal blessing, on the world. An avatar is not subject to the universal economy, his pure body, visible as a light image, is free from any debt to Nature.

Babaji is the present Sage or the Himalayan Master by virtue of being the part of the Siddha tradition of the highest order. Babaji knows the past, present and the future. The Himalayan Master has all the knowledge of the art, the science and the techniques not only of the past and the present but also of the future. Babaji is spreading the message of unconditional universal love and works of the Yoga Siddhas. Babaji’s mission in India and elsewhere is to assist prophets in carrying out their special dispensations. It is this vision and mission of Babaji that qualifies for the spiritual classification as Mahavatar.

Babaji has stated that he gave Kriya Yoga initiation to Sankara, Kabir, Lahiri Mahasaya and several others from time to time with due modification as deem fit for that present society. This has kept the Kriya Art alive in every millennium.

Babaji’s Amrutha Kriya is a Spiritual Treasure of nectar available to all humanity from Babaji through Dr. N Rajgopal. The practice of “Manana” (reflection) and “Nididhyaasana” (Meditation) on the pure consciousness would follow resulting in realization or “Anubhiti”. The seekers themselves experience a progressive enriched transformation of their physical, mental, intellectual and vital sheaths leaving spiritual foot prints on human history for its transformation.
